Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) was incorporated in September, 2000 under the Indian Companies Act, 1956 with the objective to take over the business of providing telecom services and network of the erstwhile Department of Communications with effect from 1st October, 2000. The Company is providing Telecom Services throughout the country except Delhi and Mumbai. BSNL is a schedule ‘A’/ Miniratna CPSE under the administrative control of Department of Telecommunications.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
1. Director (CM) is a member of the Board of Directors and reports to Chairman and Managing Director.
2. He is responsible for drawing up business plans for introducing new telecom services, technology forecasting, planning for switching and transmission equipment, long distance network planning and coordination and material procurement activities.
3. He is responsible for working out long term business plans for the company.
Candidate Profile:
Qualification & Experience :
1. The incumbent should be a graduate Engineer preferably in Electronics and communications/Telecommunication disciplines with good academic record from a recognised institution/university.
2. Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Management from an institution of repute would be a desirable qualification.
3. He should have knowledge about telecommunication technologies and planning methods. Candidates having experience in telecom operation, planning and development will be preferred.
