Job Description:
Responsibilities
As part of the Development team, you will be responsible for
1. Active participation in Designing new products and features
2. Development of components or features as part of a development team
3. Take the products/features through the full software development life cycle and deliver compelling customer experiences
4. Mentor junior members in the team
5. Proactively research and investigate external products and technologies identifying emerging trends and revise software development best practices to take advantage of these
6. Help architects and management staff envision product direction
7. Perform an advisory role in several features of a release
8. Pro-actively review and ensure best design and implementation of features within the team
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications :
1. Strong academic background - BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science from top schools.
2. Strong background in product development particularly in middle-ware / framework level software. Good focus on performance and design issues and expertise with building large-scale enterprise products is desirable.
3. Knowledge of Web Services – WSDL, generating and using stubs and interacting with Web Services.
4. 3-6 years of Enterprise Software Development experience with a strong technical background of complex software product development – at a Senior Engineer level or higher.
5. Strong experience in C++/C. Experience in JAVA.
6. Good background in RDBMS concepts, internals and usage; also exposure with database api’s like ODBC, Oracle CLI, DB-Library will be preferred.
7. Experience working with Partners and across Organizations would be an added advantage.
8. Capability of working with a wide range of complex computing environment
9. Ability to apply abstract concepts and innovative ideas to business problems
10. Hands-on experience installing, configuring, analyzing, optimizing performance, and troubleshooting systems and system related technology
11. Excellent written & verbal communication and presentation skills.
12. The candidate should have prior experience dealing with full product development lifecycles and multiple releases, preferably of large enterprise software products
