This position is to support the Design, development and Drafting activities of UTAS Evacuation System.
* Design and development of Inflation system components.
* Create 3D models & 2D drawings using Pro/E or Creo and Keycreator.
* Ability to trouble shoot issues in the Evacuation system manufacturing; provide MRB dispositions etc.
* Prepare design documents (test plan, test report and compliance matrix) with sound knowledge on Regulatory Requirements related to Evacuation Systems.
* Extensive knowledge of FAA/EASA and customer requirements (Aircraft OEM - Airbus, Boeing, Embraer)
* Plan and conducts system level and component level testing and supports for building prototypes.
* Preparation of engineering and operations documentation requirements.
* Leads and implements the principles of continuous improvement (Six Sigma, ACE in day-to-day projects).

Qualification: BE /B-Tech or ME/M-Tech in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering
Experience: Total 9 to 11 years (08 years prior experience in relevant field)
* Design and development.
* Hands on Experience on Pro/E, key creator and PLM tool like TcEng is MUST. Hands on Experience in Pro/E surface modelling is preferred. Knowledge on Catia V5 is added advantage.
* Extensive knowledge on inflation system design.
* Good knowledge on analysis software, especially CFD.
* Good verbal and technical writing skills
* Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software or systems.
* Participate effectively in team environments
* Willingness to work in extremely aggressive schedules, while still not neglecting the value of attention to details and subsequently delivering high quality work to the customers.
* Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
