Job Description:
Responsibilities :
 1. Requires demonstrated proficiency using Excel and excellent attention to detail without losing focus while performing very tedious work.

 2. Candidates for this position must have strong experience with Excel (filters, sorting, and knowledge of character text vs. entering numbers).

 3. STRONG attention to detail - this project will deal with cleansing and reorganizing customer data (names, addresses, etc.).

 4. Experience with data entry and manual review of data.

 5. Assess the quality and consistency of data stored in a source database and develops recommendations for data cleansing based upon data warehouse business rules.

 6. Create mappings between the fields in the source and target systems as well as identifying relationships within a source.

 7. Leverage mappings to create an ETL process to move the data from the source system to the target system.

 8. This includes data cleaning and value mapping

 9. Basic Performance tuning of queries and tables.

 10. Documentation of source schemas to be used by other Data Analysts.

 11. Quality assurance validation of the transformed data output

Candidate Profile:
Requirements :
1. Data validation and testing experience

 2. Ability to assemble, analyze, and evaluate data and to be able to make appropriate and well-reasoned recommendations and decisions to the Business stakeholders and the Project Team

 3. Strong SQL and Database skills

 4. Past project experience with integration technologies i.e. ETL, data migration, and packaged applications

 5. Experience with data quality assessment, cleansing, and improvement efforts

 6. Data sourcing, data mapping, data profiling, data mining, documenting data definitions
