Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), a state University has been created after upgradtion of Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology in May 2013 vide Delhi State Legislature Act 9, 2012, as a non-affiliating teaching and research University at Delhi to facilitate and promote studies, research, technology, innovation, incubation and extension work in emerging areas of professional education among women, with focus on engineering, technology, applied sciences, management and its allied areas with the objective to achieve excellence in these and related fields.
Job Description:
1. A state University has been created after upgradtion of Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology in May 2013 vide Delhi State Legislature Act 9, 2012, as a non- ffiliating teaching and research University at Delhi to facilitate and promote studies, research, technology, innovation, incubation and extension work in emerging areas of professional education among women, with focus on engineering, technology, applied sciences, management and its allied areas with the objective to achieve excellence in these and related fields.
2. The University invites applications to fill up the following faculty positionson deputation basis.
Candidate Profile:
Essential Qualification:
1. A Ph.D degree with First Class M.Tech in appropriate branch of Engg.,& Tech.
2. First class Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture ; AND Master’s Degree in Architecture OR Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture; AND First class Master’s
Degree in Architecture OR First class Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture; AND Ph.D. in Architecture.
3. Ph.D in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology
4. M.E./M.Tech and B.E/B.Tech. or equivalent in relevant Discipline with first class either at Bachelor or Master level.
5. M.E./M.Tech and B.E/B.Tech. or equivalent in relevant Discipline with firstclass either at Bachelor or Masters level.
